The MVS Apps

Connect calls the MVS applications (apps) to capture specific data about the customer’s financial, payroll, and paystub information per Connect session.

The following conditions apply to each of the MVS apps:

  • The customer’s data is automatically saved when they complete the app.
  • Customers can review or change the data for any of the MVS apps, even if your web or mobile app closes and reopens.
  • Customers submit all data at the end of the Connect session to generate each of the app’s specific MVS report.
  • If the customer doesn’t complete the MVS app or there wasn’t any data to gather, then the app won’t generate the consumer’s report.

Note: (Optional) You can also configure a Connect experience so that Joint-borrowers enter their information together as one unified Connect session.


The MVS Apps

The Financial App

The customer searches for their bank to sign-in, and permission their accounts: checking, savings, investment, and more. The customer’s data is only reviewed to get the account names, numbers, and balances.

Other pages allow the customer to add, delete, and review account information before submitting their data.

MVS Reports

The financial module supports generating one of the following reports.

  • Verification of Asset and Income—Transactions Report
    • 2-6 months of all debit and credit transactions.
      The amount of transactions is determined by passing in the fromDate parameter in the report’s API.
    • Up to 24 months of income credit transactions (ordered by account and confidence level).
  • Verification of Asset Report
    • 2-6 months of all debit and credit transactions.
      The amount of transactions is determined by passing in the fromDate parameter in the report’s API.
    • Provides validated insight into a borrower’s current financial assets and income streams.

The Payroll App

The customer enters or confirms their Social Security number (SSN) and date of birth (DOB) to verify their identity and authorize searching for employment records at the payroll providers.

MVS Reports

Verification of Income and Employment—Payroll Report

  • Includes income and the employment summary information including year-to-date (YTD) totals.
  • Payroll details for each pay period include:
    • Earnings
    • Deductions
    • Direct deposits
  • Data history included in the report is for the current year-to-date for at least two previous years as available.

The Paystub App

The employment questions in the payroll app determine if further employment verification is needed based on the VOIE-Paystub (with TXverify) product for the following conditions:

  • The customer’s employment records were not found at the payroll providers.
  • Some of the employment records were found at the payroll providers but one or more employment records weren’t found.

The paystub app displays prompting the customer to take or upload a photo of their most recent paycheck, or a PDF file from their employer.

Upload file requirements:

  • Upload the most recent paystub for each employer (limit is 3 files)
  • One paystub file can only contain the details for one paystub
  • Acceptable file types; .pdf, .png. and jpeg
  • The file size limit is 25 MB
  • No bank statements or non-paystub images
  • No password-protected PDF files

MVS Reports

Verification of Income and Employment—Paystub (with TXverify) Report

  • Includes up to 24 months of income credit transactions per account.
  • Paystubs (limit 3) that are manually uploaded and converted to digital format and included as a source of income on the report.
